Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of utamu.eu and the services requested through it. By using this site, you accept them. They do not replace the terms of our online shop, which apply to purchases made there.
2. The companies behind UTAMU
UTAMU Collective SRL — Place Jean Rey 8, 1040 Brussels — enterprise number 1025.358.789 — VAT BE 1025.358.789.
UTAMU Coffee'n Pastries SRL — Rue du Palais 2, 4000 Liège — enterprise number 0803.633.023 — VAT BE 0803.633.023.
3. Content of this site
Menus, prices, opening hours and availability are given in good faith and can change without notice. Photographs are illustrative. If something on this page contradicts what is displayed in the café, the information in the café prevails.
4. Table reservations — Liège
Reservations for UTAMU Liège are made through our booking provider and are confirmed by the confirmation email you receive, not by the request itself. We hold your table for 15 minutes past the booked time. Please cancel through the link in your confirmation if your plans change — it frees the table for someone else.
5. No table reservations — Brussels
UTAMU Brussels operates on a walk-in basis: first come, first served. We cannot hold or promise a table in advance, whatever the size of the group.
6. Special requests, private hire and catering
A request sent through the special requests form is not a booking. It is an invitation for us to make you an offer. A booking exists only once we have sent you a written proposal and you have confirmed it in writing. Our proposals state their own validity period, deposit, final headcount deadline and cancellation terms; those terms prevail over this page for the event concerned.
7. Prices
Prices displayed in the café and on this site include Belgian VAT. Catering and private hire quotes state whether amounts are quoted excluding VAT.
8. Intellectual property
The UTAMU name, logo, texts, photographs and the design of this site belong to UTAMU or are used with permission. You may share and link to our pages; reproducing our content for commercial purposes requires our written agreement.
9. Liability
We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it is free of errors or interruptions, nor are we responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to. Nothing here limits our liability where Belgian law does not allow it, in particular towards consumers.
10. Applicable law
Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the courts of the judicial district of the establishment concerned — Brussels or Liège — unless a mandatory consumer rule provides otherwise. Consumers may also use the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
